Red Kiln Pottery - Summer Quarter 2010
Quarterly pottery classes meet one night each week for ten consecutive weeks.
Additional practice hours in the studio are included.
Adult classes begin Tuesday, July 6th, 2010.
10 Week courses: $175.00, continuing students pay $150.00.

Intermediate Workshop Medley
Three different workshops tailored for experienced students, a total of ten class sessions.
Beginning Thursday, July 8th, 7 p.m.
— “Raku Production and Firing”
Create pots for Raku and participate in two firings.
Instructor: Chuck Parsons
—“Pots that Suit Their Use”
Three lessons on crafting and refining functional ware.
Instructor: Wendy Wood
— “Throwing Off the Hump”
Three lessons, including miniatures and functional ware.
Instructor: Lara Carroll
Each individual workshop can be taken separately, at $60.00 each.
Parent/Child Workshops
Show your child that pottery can be fun - and learn something too. Students will explore hand building techniques and projects and glaze finished pieces for firing. Clay is included. Finished work must be picked up after firing.
Open to children ages 6 to 12, accompanied by an adult.
Cost: $60.00 per parent/child pair, $20.00 for additional child.

Registration, Class Adjustments and Refunds
— Register in person, by telephone or mail. Clay and tools are available.
— Major Credit Cards accepted.
— Red Kiln and Utah Potters, Inc. reserves the right to reschedule, add, cancel, or combine classes to adjust for enrollment or other factors. If a class is canceled, students will be offered the option of another class or a full refund.
— If a student elects to drop a quarterly class before the second week, tuition will be refunded except for a $25.00 registration fee. Refunds will not be given after the second class and no refunds or credit will be given for missed classes. Make-up classes may be arranged between student and instructor.
