Red Kiln Class Schedule

Sign-ups start Friday December 2nd, 2011.
Red Kiln offers 10 week quarterly classes for $185. Continuing students pay $160. Classes include 25 lbs of clay, includes firing and glazes. Additional Bags of clay can be purchased for $25. Students are given a shelf to keep tools, supplies, and works in progress. Community tools are available for use, but purchasing a basic pottery tool kit is suggested. Red Kiln sells these for $15. Open hours for practice are available seven days a week. Open hours schedule varies each quarter.
We require a $25 non-refundable deposit to hold your place on the class roster. The deposit goes towards the balance of class tuition.
Beginning I Wheel-Throwing
Designed for individuals new to the potters wheel, this class will explore basic throwing techniques, design and glazing.
Tuesday Nights, 7 – 9 p.m.
Starts: January 10, 2012
Ends: March 13, 2012
Cost: $185 (Continuing students pay $160)

Beginning II WheelThrowing
Open to students with limited experience on the potter's wheel, this class will refine techniques, improve bad habits and offer challenging projects.
Wednesday Nights, 7 – 9 p.m.
Starts: January 11th, 2012
Ends: March 14th, 2012
Cost: $185 (Continuing students pay $160)

Intermediate/Advanced Wheel-Throwing
Open to students at the intermediate and advanced level, this class will offer projects and techniques to challenge existing skills.
Thursday Nights, 7 – 9 p.m.
Starts: January 12th, 2012
Ends: March 15th, 2012
